My deepest sympathies my good man. You have always been here for us in our hour of need and we will be here for you.
I remember hearing this poem read at one of my friends funerals a few years ago. I hope you can take comfort.
All the best and see you soon.
Miss Me, But Let Me Go
Author Unknown.
When I come to the end of the road,
and the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little—but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that was once shared.
Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take,
and each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the master’s plan,
a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
go to the friends we know.
Bear your sorrow in good deeds. Miss me,
but let me go.

Deepest symapthy Lincs mate- this poem helped me when i lost my dad-
ALL IS WELL
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way you always used.
Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort, without trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well.
all the best

You guys here on Duplu and Wozza's site are just amazing....
Reading Marks replies it's totally forgotten that its a FME site and 'real' people show their thoughts.
Mark, when I lost my Mum as Duplu did not too long ago, then my sister some of these messages on there made me cry, I cried in a way that I cannot describe as me being sad....It actually made me stronger.
There are the same members sending their thoughts here again....I thank-you from my heart on being genuine people and showing we are a band of friends, and I hope you can see that Mark....you see those people saying they will talk, do it mate...these guys care for you.

Take care and I hope you get through it alright.
Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

So sorry to hear of your loss.
My Dad died on New Year's Eve 2001, it would've been his birthday on New Year's Day ... and it came as such a shock, and I still miss him now ... even after all these years.
May God Bless you and give you strength and support mate - I am thinking of you at this time of year.
