Right folks, going to keep this intro short, and let the rest of the post do the talking.

Seams the new admin at FF (Rogue) is about as bent as a nine bob note, who will not stop short of NOTHING to get rid of any member of staff (myself), by any means fair or fowl who do NOT follow his “ideals”.

As shown here (http://www.fruit-emu...out-myself.html ) I was forced to take some time out, but when I returned, I was greeted with what you are about to see.

Can I ask you all, to please keep comments to this thread, and not spill this out on to FF itself, or any other part of FE.

I’ll let you, the general public, be the judge….

Initially, I see from what has been posted that Rogue felt he was doing you a favour. It starts with him suggesting that he was gonna 'ask for you to step down' to 'make things easier', which is no big deal really. From that statement only, Stan could say either yes or no. A choice was there in those very first lines. So nothing untoward there. An honest suggestion.

The following lines though suggest the decision/choice is not negotiable. That the deal is a done thing. Stan has no choice. How discussions can be made to determine what story will go to the public to give reason for Stan's stepping down being more or less those following lines. Stan stepping down?


As much as I try to relate to Rogue helping out by 'making things easier'. I do feel Stan has been 'discarded' rather than helped. Unless of course the term 'helping out' should be proceeded with 'of moderating'.

I think Stan has been slapped in the face quite rudely.

On another note, wasn't Stan elected as a moderator by the membership? Does the membership, from whom the funds for the forum originate from, hold Stan with enough trust for him to be a moderator?

To be honest, I'm probably going to make an enemy out of this post. An enemy of someone who has personally done me no wrong. But this is my opinion on whats been posted here on this thread. Wether it's right or wrong to do so in posting PM's ect.. is a different matter.

Seems like Stan has been shit on in a way.

I can understand Rogues point about others having access to stans account but using Stans current situation as an exscuse to get rid is just unfair.

One of the things I liked about the current (now former) moderation at FF was the contrast of moderator. People who all would not agree and be yes men. I hope rogue you are not going to go down the line of appointing yes men.

Yes, I dislike the idea of posting PM's, log's, etc, but I was basically left with little other choice to defend myself any other way.

It's certainly not something I make a habit of.

Stan, just add my 2 cents here.

1) The thread you posted at FF was made by yourself and LOCKED by yourself, whereas the one here was left unlocked. That sent out odd messages, although these messages were not acted on (I basically just thought 'thats a bit odd')

2) When 'your friend' posted from your account at Fruit Forums to let us know how you were getting on, he did so in the moderator zone, with moderator privileges. It was agreed that the account have moderator access removed at that time.

I'm afraid that (as I have found out in the past) that you should not let anyone have access to an account with moderator privileges, no matter what the situation is/was. As such, you left us in a position where basically the privileges had to be removed from the account at that time.

If you had posted this at Fruit Forums, I would have had no issue with not modifying it in any way, but you've basically shown where your intentions lie with this account.

Perhaps you should spend more time with your family and less time trying to 'get one over on us', which frankly makes you look rather childish.

I worked for a disability charity for a while and have been on the board of other disability charities - I found absolutely no offense in the logs posted at all to be honest?? I think maybe you are hyper sensitive at the moment Mark which I can understand and maybe this was just a way to get rid of you, but the commentary seems fine to me, and I have heard enough people stepping around mental health issues (I organised the international day of disability this year as well as speaking at the launch of equality manifestos for Birmingham council etc.).

I can understand them getting rid of you because of issues relating to the access of your account. Probably could have been handled better though mate.

I don't really see the problem to be honest.

It's not a paid job, it's not a glamourous job, and you get flak for every decision you make. Basically for 'stanmarsh' what it means is that he can focus his attentions on the more important things in life.

It's something I've been looking at doing voluntarily recently because to be quite frank it's a lot of effort and you only seem to get crap back. Lord knows why anyone would volunteer to do it, especially at Fruit Forums which is notoriously 'aggressive' when the mood takes it.

In fact if someone said to me now 'would you reconsider your moderator position', I'd get my coat.
