well done;
But it was a close one; as although you had pumped £670 in there was no reason it had to pay you anymore than before you had put it in.. £670 is a lot to risk I would try to cut down what you are risking unless you are Richard Branson. Wins are lower but you so are your losses on cheaper machines, also you get far longer for your money.......... Or New Years resolution cut them out altogether
anyway - again - well done

So you actually won £430 and was lucky enough not to lose £670, which would pay most peoples rent for a month ?

It's a lovely feeling, but you 're now contracted into keeping us informed of any heavy losses. Please feel free to tell us on future occassions of £500+ in and a feeling of complete demoralisation.
I once put £20 into a section 16 machine pressed start ten times and won 50p. I then repeated that twenty times until I decided to start banging my head against a sharp object as it was slightly more pleasurable.
Quite how anyone wins more than 5p on these things is a total mystery.

If the machine was making a buzzing noise it means nothing different, it is most likely just the power supply, as for that woman she probably thought it was going to pay out big, never listen to or believe any rumours that go around about when machines are going to pay out, especially due to it making a buzzing noise lool,
Chris.

I have definately won more than I have lost on sec 16 machines, but I've been lucky, and played about 8 times ever. So far about £40 in over £150 out, but I've been very lucky and only play a max of £5 at a time.
Edit: The only buzzing noise that is good to hear is the sound of the hopper motor rotating, other than that it possibly means it has a maygay PSU, rofl.

Stadium PSU I take it. Have heard many many stories about them from people. I would imagine they are the primary cause of Epoch's failings. A dodgy PSU is bound to bugger up the electronics on the system board(s). You can upgrade the PSU capacitors easy enough if you know how to solder. I'm sure the engineers amongst us could tell you what parts to buy if its something that you'd be interested in.

It may have been better for you if you hadn't won your money back. Losing that amount of money might have taught you the lesson that most of us have already learnt. In your mind you have won and won big so you'll go on playing and next time you'll be in a worse state than this and maybe you won't win at the end of it.
Cheerful thought from me but sometimes you need to lose big so that you don't eventually lose things that are more valuable to you.
