Great machine from download put £20 through and won £417

ok i downloaded the file no problem-did the install again no problem,but when i came to open the game i got this on screen- any ideas please folks ?

This is the same problem I used to get with my sims - answer below;

newer versions of Direct X fix this, or do a search on the threads for the emulators that have been created in the past. The file MSSTDFMT.DLL is in the directory and it needs to be copied to the windows directory and then registered..

copy file from c:ppanthermsstdfmt.dll to c:windowssystem32

then type regsvr32 c:windowssystem32msstdfmt.dll

then any VB programs people write will run from then on.

anyone else having to close it in task manager? If its on autoplay and i close i can still hear the reel noise lol.

i can't get any of these links to work. the first link i clicked on threw up an error page, the one above says 'file ready to download' but when you click on download, i get a 'system busy' screen. i have tried it several times. can it not be uploaded as an attachment here?

On the top feature,when it spins the reels vanish and then appear again with whatever was supposed to come up.

Is this normal or is something amiss?
