Simon,

Sad to hear that mate - just make sure that all the time you have left you spend enjoying yourself as much as you can. Will be thinking of you over xmas time and hope you get to spend as much time with your family as possible,

Live your life like every day is your last.

A friend of mine was also diagnosed with the same condition and was told he has 6 months to live, sadly he died a week later - his funeral was yesterday.

He and his wife were due to take a world cruise in 2 weeks time.

Sorry to hear this, spend what you have left doing what you want to do - and enjoy it as mush as you can.

Sorry to hear of this simon. I really and truely hope that things get better be strong about this. i know that this will be the most hardest thing that you will ever fight, A friend of the family had the problem had an op the Xrays to check and after 2 years you would never know ,he stopped smoking has a drink now and then can`t do a 100meter sprint. lol his joke . With this if 1 man can do it so can another.

I Hope that you have a great xmas and new year with this i wish to hear that you have beaten this.

Myself like many other member on here wish you the very best :)

Simon,

Respect to you my friend, as if you haven't been through enough.

I second impact here....in the spring a Friend of mine I work with was in the same position, i'm pleased to say he has had better news since treatment started.

Thank-you for sharing that, really puts our petty and pathetic 'problems' into prospective.....take care of yourself mate.

I can only think of you at this time as a brave and honourable man, looking after his family and doing good and then this horrible blow.

I am a religious person, and please believe me that you will be in my prayers and thoughts Simon - be positive - think positive - and who knows what will happen.

My love and thoughts go out to you mate at Christmas and especially for the New Year :)
All The Best

just want to say God Bless you son. I agree with another member when he said about putting our measly pathetic lives into context. I hope that you sort things regarding your son and that Christmas is a time for togetherness and I, along with fellow members wish you all the very best. Take care and once again God bless

I am so sorry to hear this Simon. I have always enjoyed your sometimes witty, sometimes serious posts on this site. I can only echo the above sentiments and hope you make it the best Christmas you can possibly have. Good luck and fight this with all your might. I will say a prayer for you my good man.
