Does NOT work with Virgin Media, as they throttle ALL traffic after you downloaded over 3 gig per day in their peak usuage timeframe.

wow, what a bitchy post and it shows the males are just as good as it as us!, could only read the first couple of pages before i thought of an annoying thing. the women/young girl chavs with screaming children,babies whilst banging there childrens food/benefit and bill money in the bandits. i rarely play them (and never take my kids in)but theres a cafe in the arcade that does nice drinks,so whilst trying to enjoy a cuppa you can see this goin on. The thing is, its not 1 or 2 theres an epidemic of them, leaving there prams whilst in the over 18s area etc. thats wrong? sorry for my punctuation and spelling i did try. rant over!!

most annoying thing about playing fruits you say i would that would have to be smelly people standing behind me with a large bag offering me advice that i dont f want then seeing said smelly people jumping on said machine and winning then them coming up to to me the street and telling me so at least they then have enough for a bar of and some beer to drown out the shitness of there otherwise pointless life

I too have had the misfortune of the smelly man with the large bag standing behind me. Quite tall he was, with an odour of bacterial gas by product, unwashed never areas and general dampy, shitty, cacky smells.

"They've got one of these on The M1 services" he volunteered unhelpfully. The odious stench from his lungs nearly killing me. I could only imagine there was a ton of unused mouthwash, floss and toothpaste in the bag, I didn't dare to ask which services it was exactly, that had the said machine inside.

Well i must admit i have stayed out this type of thread for long time.

But i have to admit even tho i do not play them myself i DO know someone that does make a consistant living from them by playing them and without emptiers.

I do know their profits vary but it is always between 700 - 2000 a month they clear.

He also teams up with a couple of guys often to maximise profit esp in the london casinos.

To give an example the Grand slam and clones were always good for a few hundred profit for a couple of hours "work" and the likes of 5 alive when they were about even i was taking a few hundred out of those years ago....

Basicly boiling it down, if you know how the machines are programmed , flagged etc then you will always have a slight edge over other people and sometimes the emu proves this ( like when you get threads like.... how does the % work as mine is way below ) etc sometimes that will just be the machine isnt being played to its full potential...

Of course diff manus = diff programmers but most programmers have a set style so once you know it generally you can get JP's out of machines easier than an average player....

Back to the slams if you play them right they would give you 3 or 4 JP's ( £1000 ) close enough together to make good profit if you played it right for them.

Ok so you might have had to put in 2.5 - 3.8k to get the 3 or 4k but if you know what your doing you knew you was gonna be up at least few hundred from the very first £20.

Yes gary could be a bullshitter but i for one know he could be making a living from it.

i could make that a day from poker but first i would need some money which is not that easy to come by and i have know doubt what so ever that you can make that but gary just seems to win all the time which is imposable
if he does good luck to him maybe he then can buy or rent a home
having being homeless myself i know that there is not many things better then having a roof over my head and sleeping in my own bed 3 years of sleeping roof ocasonaly hostel untill finnaly my family get offered a council house
anyways that has no point and nothing to do with anything .

anyways single most annoying thing about playing fruit machines is some twat stood behind me who i have never met in my entire life standing there watching me who will then offer me unwanted advice which most of the time will not be of any use or will be unrealted to the machine

The single most annoying thing for me(No it's not mr. Twat behind me, my arcade is virtually empty!) is when you are on a 3, high, 2 extra life, high, 1. LOSE! It is too tempting to have another stab at the number, and 2 losses in a row? Nasty stuff. Oh yeah and machines where you get a board and get a lose first spin...And the bloody nughes on Big Cheese which are 10 for £2 or something! OK maybe there is more than one thing,but still it needs out!

My biggest arse with them is the no skill factor.

I use memory editors to fix things like extra lives etc and no matter what as soon as the machine reaches its limit you could have 100 extra lives and you would lose them all and be kicked off before you get that elusive next nudge/cash etc.

This basically means you were never going to win the jp no matter what so it makes it pointless to play it - and thats how i gave up.

Wheter you hold 1 or 2 reels or just spin them the outcome will be the same. If the machine wants to give you a win it just will and keep you in attract mode before sucking your money out. so there is really no skill other than hitting the start button and the odd flashing light.

Of course there are very few exceptions where some element of human input does decide it - for example connect 4 and the old no lose on the connect 4 board trick of copying the computers moves each time - always results in a draw and you win.

Anyway, thats enough from me. i think i've used my post quota for 2008...
