Hi,

i downloaded the mfme 1280dx version of Roller Coaster, but it wont let me insert coins to play...comes up with an error1.1
anyone else discovered this, and how can i get round it as it wont play :-(

Looks great tho considering it was a jpm :-)

plays ok in 10.1a, are you trying to use that? if so go conifg and change the SPEED TO 150000.

yeah, thats what im using....i tried 9.9 also....hmmm
try downloading it again from this site and see if it errors....i cant figure it out
i even opened the door and went into test mode..seems the £1 coins and 20ps are full or something...
i just wanna play it!!!!

i have just edited my post so try changing the speed , it should work now

ive tried all the above, same error ( 'Error = 1.1' )
its not a speed issue..the display lights are all ok n stuff, just cant put credit in....have you tried downloading it and trying??

this is the DX version by Ploggy..the classic version works ok...but not the 1280 dx version...

Someone HELP!! i wanna play it :-P

I would try downloading again. It should work great in 3.2.

I just had to go into 'Design' mode, and actually go into properties of the coin button, and turn it into a 'coin' button and set it to '1'
now it plays at 20p play with the coin button being £1

how come nobody else had to do this?!?!?!?

You maybe playing this on a PC that is too fast for the speed level I originally set the machine at. Impact machines, and Sys 5 machines give off a alarm thinking the money is being put in too fast. It is a fraud protection method that was used on the real machines in the past.

You need to set it to 'Auto Throttle', and move the slider to the left, until it matches your own PC speed.

Why not just download the JPM version and play it on the JPM Emu
