when loaded it comes up pound fault how do i correct it

Seems you trying to "insert" the "pound coins" too quickly ?
If it does it again..exit the emulator..load it up again and wait 1-2 secs before pressing zero again to put more credit in.

Or just turn down the speed in the Emulator.
If you are using MFME3.x you can set it to Auto Throttle to get the emulator working at the machines proper speed.
Or if you hold down the coin in key, don't.
These should cure it
