hi all

just got three new gambits down the local and was wondering if anyone had some hints and tips to help me along the way.

Be Dazzled
Side Splitter
Snakes and Ladders

I've played all three with not much success. All help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Well to be honest i dont rate anyone them, apart from Side Splitter which i have not seen yet.Be dazzled is in nearly every Ladbrokes around here at the mo.I does like to offer rather decent cash wins sometimes, which i think you get the chance to collect whilst on a ?mark ( i think it does anyway).

Snakes and ladders looks like Monopoly, have tried my change for a pint in it several times but as its a B.F.M game i would never dream of forcing( as there is very rarely a streak there). This machine DEFINETLY allows you to callect on a ?mark. So gamble higher at your pearl !! As it seems like a Monopoly in desguise i would leave it well alone as i've heard on other message boards there is an Emptier for it (Monopoly)

Sorry , non of the above is actually gonna make you anymore money playing these machines than before you wrote your message, but hopefully it might actually STOP you playing any of 'em, as that will DEFINETLY make you better off !

Regards.

Got to agree with Ziggy on that one, Snakes & laddders/Monopoly is very poor, put your change from your beer in and collect when you hit a question. Side Splitter never seen it before but heard its like Big Blaster, again very poor. Be-dazzled is the better of the three but you can't collect on a question mark. Their is an easy way of getting jackpot on it, i'll PM you rather than post it.

thank you for all your replies, i guess i will have to find a new local now :D

as you can see i have only just joined this site. i have been playing gambits for a few years now, got hooked when i played on my first one (cant remember what it was called), put in £1 and got straight onto the board and it started flashing red. got the £15 jp and it repeated twice so walked away with a nice £45 woo hoo and been playing them ever since.

are there any good posts that will explain some of the basic terms, eg emptier,it means nothing to me :dontgeti:

one thing i have been told is that if the machine drops your pound coins to the "bottom bank" it is close to paying out,,is there any truth to this??

thanks in advance

If its full/backing will it pay? No because it may of just been refilled. Example: say for instance yesterday i took £100 out of Wildfire about 10:30pm and this morning the engineer came in and refilled it and cleaned out the cash box. When the pub opens in the afternoon the first person on it, it will be full. Although i had £100 the night before so its not going to pay out anything decent for long time. Does that make sense?

There are still wildfires out there? I thought they had the streak chipped out of them and were gone. That used to be a great one when it was ready... About £20 - £30 in for £100 out via a couple of IM boards after the first top feature. I have had £115 out of it before now but sadly it's long since passed. However before it went it had been chipped and NEVER once after that did it give you the £100 streak, just WILDFIRE for £25 and then dead...

Funny you should hint at a trick for Bedazzled as that is in the pub by me as a replacment for THE BIG SHOW that was being emptied constantly... Poor bugger that landlord getting to exploitable machines in a row. As for Side Splitter it is identical to Big Blaster, obviously you guys don't like these but if you only play for a few small wins and don't bother forcing i find them good. There was a BIG BLASTER in the pub now replaced by barcrests Bling King which was in a well happy mood lastnight. I am sure they set the percentage a lot higher when they first put them as it was flying pretty much all night and i made £30 profit off the thing. It is a variation on Crash Bang Whalop and the like which to be honest suck. Only JPM can make a decent multi-stake machine

this will sound really stupid but what it does mean by "forcing" the machine. :?:

Forcing means playing for jackpot only and refusing all other wins.

With the hope of it giving you more than £25. Also it's not always force for the JP on newer machines there is normally a feature after the £25 and you'll be forcing for that. Then once you have it, if all has gone to plan it should give you the JP + More and then depending on the machine a couple of invincable boards leaving you with £75 - £100 in the bank.

be careful playing ice burger. theres a bug in the reelblast code where it doesnt read the reels properly.

if you get respin via the bonus on the feature, the machine still thinks the reels are in the old position (ie before the respin) when you take the reelblasts. therefore you think youve got the jackpot off 9 blasts and you end up with somethin really crap. not sure if the new chip fixes this or not.

the new chip definately fixes the jp cheat (so its ok to post it here). basically you took the feature 'below freezing' and held all the reels and the machine stepped to the jackpot. doesnt work now.

also the last gamble to 99 nudges or £25 is next to impossible. kills you every time and your usually on a 2 or 11 to tempt you into losing. a streak of a few £10 is fairly easy to achieve and is the best way to play this machine.

Anyone seen the new cops n robbers machine from bell-fruit? exact same thing as their monopoly release...

You would think they could make a better effort that copying their machines all the time..
