After searching through this topic
http://www.fruit-emu...or-91-00-a.html
I found out it to be Non payout 100p...Dont know what it means if it's an IOU or the hopper's faulty, but it narrows it down.
Think that post Moco did then could be stickied, saves a good bit of time deciphering the stuff

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

yeah if there are no coins jammed in the hopper then you will have a faulty hopper.
pm me if you need a replacement as i'm sure they are the purple hopper bed and i have about 3 working ones in my shed from old machines i've scrapped.

right...
i really dont think theres any hope:bigeyes06: the bit on top of the hopper. (if what i think a hopper is is correct) was loose, ive taken this off- it came away very easily. and now i done have a clue how to put it back.
the only way i think we could do this is if i take pictures of whats wrong and you try and make out what it is

Right guys, im getting rid of the machine next week due to it not working.
One last effort to get it to work ive taken some pictures of what i think is wrong with it. (the part that i took off to see if there was any coins jammed in in but now i cant get it back on)
Just ask if theres anything that could help you diagnose whats wrong, ive got my camera working now so i can take as many pictures as needed.
Thanks guys, really apprechiate any help i get.
on a side note, if anyone would like this machine for spares/ repairs im in Worthing, West Sussex. (but if it could be fixed then id profer that:bigeyes16:)

in pic 1 the Y Chute the small one with the white on it, this goes in at the top fat end 1st with white bit at the bottom, push it down into the clips.
The other piece is the coin mech this should slot in sideways once the Y chute is on"
If coins are jamming in the mech or if it is rejecting all the time, take the coin mech out & it has a flap on it with a spring on, pull the flap out & wipe in here with polish on a cloth to remove dirt that stops coins going in.

EDIT: thanks for the info on the coin mech, have managed to fit that now.
only thing is i dont fully understand how to fit the other thing =/

hello mate
the error that you have ,if it is still 01 44,is payout verification error £1.
this means either the hopper that spits out the coins is disconnected or the little board where the hopper plugs into is faulty.
the error is basically telling you that it cannot verify if a hopper is fitted to the machine.
or the hopper is faulty.
