Hi fellow members,

Here is a question for you,

I currently have a Maygay 1999 version Homers Meltdown Fruit machine. Its started coming up with an error upon start up stating 6.1 note error however the machine does not have a note accepter fitted. It simply sticks on this alarm until you turn it off.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

regards

check the little switches on the mpu.board behind the reels that has the program chips plugged into it.

make sure all switches are at the off position.

Baz & Co,

Any other ideas as the dil switches being on or off make no difference to the alarm. There are 2 banks of 8 dil switches on the board. Like I said, the machine does not have a note mech and this alarm happened once I had moved the machine.

Your help is much appreciated.

Hi All,

Im still having problems with Homers Meltdown & the 1.6 Note mech error alarm. I have turned the 2 banks of 8 dil switches both all on & all off and it makes no difference to the alarm.

Any other ideas boys?

This seems strange cos it has never had a note accepter fitted and only started doing this when I moved it.

Have you tried contacting the Manufacturers? (spelt wrong probably)

Also, it's best to keep an exisiting thread running rather than starting a new one each time you want to ask something. There is a button stating Quick for replying, this saves the Mods having to merge the threads together each time you start a new one.

But then... you're giving Todd practice :)
