I have had this wildfire machine for some time now, but recently it shows up "Note acceptor" when it starts up and sounds the alarm. It then changes to error 1.6 "Mech note err 1.6".

Also error code 4.5 "New opts alm" shows too.
Can anyone help me before i pull my hair out.

Check on the inside board just behind the reels and check all the DIP switches are set to off or 0

Thanks i checked that earlier and they all are. Also forgot to mention there is no note acceptor fitted!

The new opt alm is tell you that there has been new options made to the machine e.g. float level changed

Sorted now. I replaced the program board with the dip switches on it and all works fine now.
