Hi some technical advice would be much appreciated.

I have a high flyer fruit machine from barcrest and having some problems. It has suddenly packed in. It won't load up and all it says is hey check it out. Does anyone know what this may mean?

hey check it out !! hey check it out !! .... anoying isnt it .... its the alarm sound lol tell us what comes up on the display it should say ALARM ??-?? then the alarm description

either your mpu 5 board or gamecard or game chips are faulty.

I had this the first day I got my Machine, it was just simply a lead that had come unplugged from the Board, check that all leads are plugged in.

Ok hopefully it's just that.

I just spoke to a mate of mine who claims he knows about fruit machines. He asked me to count the lights on the mpu and there are 2 red and 12 yellow in a sequence. He then said that the mpu is gone. Is this true or rubbish? Thanks.

is the status led on the mux5/mux5e pcb and the power led in other words to make it easy are both lights on the mux pcb are they lit if only 1 then mux5 or on the mpu5 4 led plus status led the 4 led are show all the voltage of the mpu are ok if any are out the two fuses on the mpu5 and or the two fuse on the mux unit this is also for the reel driver pcb two leds and two fuse check the ones on the mpu and the mux. after u have checked these and all ok but nun of the x number led are still not on then the psu has a low level line of voltage to drive the outputs of the machine
