Hi all, new to here and being aged 33 my god have some memories have been brought back from the many days of my youth I spent in Blackpool pumping bandits full of 10 pences!!!! My fav bandit of all time has to be Barcrests Stop the Clock but I'm trying to track down another fav of mine! It was a 2p machine and it was called 'Checkout'. Can't remember who produced it but I remember it was based on shopping and you had to fill a certain amount of tin cans to get onto the feature board. Does anyone remember it? Went to Blackpool on holiday in the late 80's and me and my sister spent all day on it!!!! Great site by the way!!!

There are still 2 checkout machines well there was last season in a little arcade on the outside of the pleasure beach that has a few old classics in there includeing some Brenco 1p machines. The machine is in a Barcrest Cabinet but is made by PCP i beleve, if you want to visit the arcade in question, walk down the prom on the outside of BPB pass Ripleys and Pizza Hut and its on the next corner along after Pizza hut block if you get to the hollands pie shop you have passed it other classic machines that were in there last year included round the town, Searchlight, and flashlight, Cloud999, 777 heaven and ace play it again sam thay may have even been a BFM cops and robbers in there most on 5 or 10p play, ho i forgot there was one of the BWB video based machines in there cannot remember the name but its the one that has casino based game in the feature, ha yes renio reels. Well worth a visit and its normaly not got a lot of people in there

Hi Cliff! Thanks for that! The number of times I've walked past the pleasure Beach and never noticed! So glad someone remembers it! Thought I'd imagined it! Only live down the road from Bpool so I think I'll have to nip in wiv me 2p's and av a chippy tea from chippy next to Coral Island! Cops and robbers aswell! thats a blast from the past. You dont happen to remember a more recent one if you can help me? It was out approx 5 years ago, I think it was called red hot something and it had a picture of a woman in a red catsuit at the bottom of the cabinet, looked like a devil, can't remember who produced it though! Thanks again Cliff!
