Hi there just had this machine delivered, thought would get a machine I have never played before, anyone got any stories about this one? Decent streak potential? Its from 2002 so its an earlish epoch Global machine, absolutely love the sound effects on it uses pretty much the same sound effects as all the games media machines today are using.
Anyway jusat thought would ask if anyone knew this one, as used to be a big fan of early epoch globals but never came across this one when playing.
ps general query someone terchnical might know this, when epoch machines initialise they always display some date on the alpha think its something January 1997, just wondering if any reason for displaying that date

if its always going back to the same date then it may have a low battery but unless its paying out loads or giving you a low battery alarm or constantly losing its hopper coin count then i wouldn't worry.
the machine usually always sets back to that date when its had a ram clear so maybe the machines you have had or seen have had ram clears and nobody could be bothered to put the correct time and date.

hmmm phoenix nights this takes me back a while used to play it all the time in my local arcade
£5 version im guessin?
very fun machine 3 keys in a row or 2 keys 3 holds etc for a feature
hidden features are best get 3 of em red bars in a row try to get skill and then cash and hammer the start button so it hits 20p lil cheat is that it will bounce up to a fiver and you get jackpot lovley
may be interestin for you to try and get the red hot cash thing nvr had it and phoenix nights can be a swine to force but rumour has it can go upwards of £50
may want to note that most of the features from about KEY STEPPER up are a complete waste of space and the lower features ie lanceloot are much more efficent.

Used to quite enjoy playing the 25 pound jackpot version, but HATED the 5 pound one. Used to block like a complete arse. The 25 one was pretty easy to force out, even if it was normally only a flat 25.

hi there thanks for replys its on £25 jackpot dont have decals for £5 jackpot, give this a good test today today and to be honest it seems like a machine if you are playing for 'real' its a bit annoying but if for home (fun use) is great as it seems really up and down, can give a £2 board game over (thinking machine is dead) and then a good board out of the blue. Would hate to play this one for real and decide should I force, as offering £15 first board can sometimes mean nothing. Pretty sure you know there is an insane streak locked away in it somwhere, seems to have a similar profile (albeit different game) to globals like Batta outta hell/Stairway to Heaven/Cannobal run
ps after giving a jackpot it seems to like to pretend to be dead next board or 2 then suddenly give a top feature out of nowhere. (still waiting to get hidden features)
