The QOS on my system is already disabled.. so i dont know what difference it would make if any. May not do much in XP Home as the tip was originally for XO Pro.

If so its wierd how come it works with some people and not others.
Sorry mate, forgot to add I'm on XP Pro (student release lol, starts working around 11:55am then goes for lunch at 12)

service should be removed on both xp and vista on its about as usefull as vista uac control click me again even though you just said yes in case your not sure the second time disabling tcip v6 on most connections should also speed up on vista it did for myself anyways

i belive there is a reg backup function on the previous mentioned optimizer probaly best to use this before playing around with connection
