Mc Donalds closing will not stop me from visiting Ingoldmells and Fantasy Island - there are plenty of other places to get something to eat.
The Fantasy Island branch have always seemed busy when I have been there on holiday (I go outside the peak season - normally September and have been as early as April)
I am wondering if the closure has anything to do with customer complaints, they seem to be really slow serving customers and I have had frozen (in the middle) food served to me - it was when they were doing ham and cheese toasties , I had to go back 3 times to complain as they all had frozen spots in the middle - in the end I gave up and chucked the toastie away after the last change as it was still really cold in the middle.

I wonder if trading standards closed them down for advertising that they were an eating establishment?
