"Enough Is Enough

This site was setup for reviews of layouts for FME, but went above and beyond it's original format.

When "threats" are made on the other forums to the person who ran this site, things need to be considered from all angles.

Although probably crap, I cannot take that risk that my missus or children could be alone in the house if somebody did actually turn up so it's best to call it a day.

So with that in mind, I am stepping away from this kind of thing forever and will never host any FME related site again.

Thank you to everyone that supported this site - if I pissed you off along the way then sorry and have a beer on me.

This is the end of running a FME site for me - some people took it too seriously, perhaps even me and that's it.

Family comes first - always.

There is actually lesson here, perhaps some people should just leave each other alone and shit like this need not happen and this applies to all parties.

From now on in the world of FME, consider me dead and I can say that I pretty much enjoyed the past seven years so it was worth the effort some of the time.

I have made mistakes - this site was one I guess, so for that it's best to close its doors as it never really captured the original style of Visual Fruit.

Consider this my goodbye and apology for what this place turned into and you'll never hear from me again.

I am for one absolutely gob smacked at this, and in absolute disbelief that Harv would let any bullying scum bag get to him, but after seeing a actual threat made to your family in so many ways, I can understand why the above has happened.

Sad to read such comments.

DIF in my opinion was another FME site where we could all have fun.....I actually learned a lot from the points made on DIFv1...that improved my Emus no-end.

I don't know the history of any threats but that is really not on whoever or whatever it was.....I don't like a site or its contents I simply don't go there.

FME to me is a hobby, One I personally love....as PT would say "this is bad"....that to me is FME.....humour and loving playing Emu's.

Jeez no wonder so many people are drifting away from the FME scene.
Things as they stand are pathetic, the whole scene is take, take, take, I want, gimme, gimme, gimme.
I liked DIF, it was different to the other FME sites, the reviews were truthful, sometimes a little harsh but a least there was no butt kissing.
A the end of the day this is just a hobby, I don't blame mr h for saying sod it and calling it a day.

Stan you done what you think is right..but when it comes to "FME World" if we are not all here for the banter and the piss taking and Emulation as well as the occasional more serious side of things when they crop up then its a sad day.

Moderation on FF hasn't really been working has it?
There can't be any room for cyber bullies on an open forum - the fact that FF has usually given all sorts of personal abuse free rein is the one thing I've never liked about it.
I know it's a fine line between moderation and censorship, but unmoderated forums never work in the long run - the bullies eventually dominate and destroy the atmosphere.

He will get away with it - He always does, which is a shame. Ban Skizzo for swearing yet Tibbs can threaten people and no one on FF gives a shit. Not condoning Skizzo's conduct but let's judge every offence individually. Do I think swearing is more offensive than threatening people = No, yet Skizzo' has been banned numerous times.
