Hi
I was playing a magic 7 seven from electrocoin on sat afternoon, I was just waiting for the other half to finish work and went in the Quicksilver arcade in the shopping center, I only went in because it was empty i had 2 quid from the shopping and choose a sit down quicksilver branded magic 7 from electrocoin, with the £5, £10 £25 prize levels on 30p, any way ist coin in and the 2x's on the pay line held i know this is a 100% fiver so i hold them played off the remaing goes put the other pound in and nothing, collected the fiver and was going to take the £3 profit but someting told me to put another pound in, got a hold on the X's again with a hold after win, spin and hold on 2 X's then a spin and a nudge for 3'xs then 2 x Bar win drop in for a tenner each followed by several hold on x's reached the bank limit and collected more x's from holds reached limit again and collected, got the 7's for the 25 quid colleted back down to the 60 quid and thay spun in again for another 25 collected back to £70 and the no dosh to pay out sounded, the attendant stuck in the refill key and put another £100 in why only £100 when i had 70 quid in the bank i dont know, collected and spun off me last to creds no more wins. Now this machine had a note acceptor in it and i allways thought that hoppers with note acceptors in held about 300 quid, I know the non notes accepter machines hold about 125 ish, is this case if so unless the thing had gone way mad that day there should have been pleanty in there to pay me £140 quid not a bad profit though from 2 pound start me best ever i think, I think Niles or one of the engeneers here can may be confirm this.

Cat C machines with note acceptors hold £250.
Maybe they did not fill it up right to start off with. Maybe the machine thought it had more than it did, hence the note acceptor being on.
If you can see what I mean.

I used to make the sec 16 machines think they were full just by pressing the top up if the hopper level fell below £100, that way it would still take notes. And also can confirm £250 is the note acceptor hopper level.

HI
Thnaks for your answers confirmed what i thought still dont understand why thay only refloted it with £100 when thay knew i had £70 to still collect, Mind you after the £145 streak i am guessing that particular magic 7 was about to go on one big Suck mission so it would soon fill up again.

Just to throw in extra confusion, Electrocoin use 'non-standard' float, credit, note lockout and bank limits so anything is possible.
