If you asked this in 1989 (before you were [allegedly] born) I would say Barcrest, no question.
By the early 90's I think Bell Fruit had the edge.
By the early 2000s Bell Fruit were Evil_Personified, and Barcrest were once again top'o'the tree.
Not having played a machine for about 3 years, I really couldn't say who's the least rubbish these days, but I'm fairly sure it now amounts to which is the lesser of two evils rather than which is 'best'.

Oh Gawd it's an accomplice me on the forums...
So I aint the youngest here now...?
Well they are both as bad as each other I think hehe...Bellfruits are quite easy to know when you are going to get a biggish win, but they do take quite a bit for a board.
Barcrests, there are 2 new ones in my "local" and they are pretty easy to follow their sequence when they have been switched on... But older barcrests are f*****g awful, and older Bellfruits are decent enough...So I will have to cast my vote to Bellfruit

Off topic but should 13 year olds really be exposed to gambling and strong language. Quite worrying really.

lol that would probably be the case but all the year 8 and 9s are squealing little nippers down this way hehe now lets get this issue to a close and get back on the far more important topic of if Barcrest is better than Bellfruit!

It's not hard to win with a little bit of info. A lot of info and you can make packet. The hard part is finding certain machines. Theres no need for any sharking, any Chav behaviour of any kind.
Smartly dressed, Polite with the landlords, barstaff and the locals an with the right machines at your disposal then you'll be surprised just how easy it is. And before any Pikey comments come out, I work 6 days a week fulltime in a proper job, Machines are just a hobby that used to cost me money years back but now I'm slowly clawing it all back.
I forgot to add. Bellfruit gets my vote at the moment. Some of barcrests recent releases have been Dire. As much as I hate seeing Noel in every pub you go in at least you do have a chance of a Megastreak off just a few £. Barcrests like to take £50+ just to see any life.

Do you mean you used to be an addict ?Machines are just a hobby that used to cost me money years back but now I'm slowly clawing it all back...
I've never met anyone who plays fruit machines for a 'hobby'.
It's possible to make a few quid playing machines but it's not easy these days.
It used to be easy, but unless you have very solid inside information it's now very difficul.
I've said it loads of times, but if you go out playing machines with the intention of making 'proper' money you'll almost certainly regret it in the long run.
At best it's a way to make a few quid while simultaneously managing and controlling your addiction, at worst it's simply an excuse to keep that addiction going.
Few if any professional gamblers have the hard info and iron control needed to prevent themselves succumbing to self-destructive addictive behaviour when things go wrong.
It's a mug's game - even when you're winning.
