No Tara. If that is the worst tackle you've ever seen then you can't be very old can you?
It wasn't meant. The guy broke his leg but it's a man's game. Get on with it. Arsene Whinger suggesting that he should be banned for life is a bloody insult. Who the hell does he think he is?

Arsene #@#@#@# is a fool. Why is it if Arsenal are losing, they will kick the other team to pieces but as soon as his golden boy gets hurt, he throws his dummy out of the pram. If you play a rough boys sport you are going to get hurt. Get over it.
Come here to post jokes, oh and to play the occasional frutie.

I totally second you here Grey, all that makes this incident stand out is the fact there was a broken bone.
This tackle is no different to any other that occurs in numerious games throughout all divisions..just the outcome's not the norm.
Tara, watch some football honey.

Glad to see the Whinger has retracted his statement. It was a bad tackle but it was unfortunate as well.

I see the video is no longer available on YouTube now -
This video has been removed due to terms of use violation.
But watched it on MOTD last night and it did look a bad tackle.

it was a bad tackle, but it is not worthy of being kicked out of the game. Over the last few seasons there have been MUCH worse tackles than that but they havent caused a broken ankle. The punishment should fit the tackle, not the injury.

I'm not even certain it was deserving of a red card. It was mistimed, yes, but definitely not malicious. Had Eduardo not broken his leg we wouldn't even be talking about the tackle right now...

I think Arsene Wenger would do well checking out this video
YouTube - Nani Dribble Vs Arsenal
If Nani hadn't jumped then this tackle would have done some serious damage. The player doesn't aim for the ball it's only his Arse that connects with the ball because his feet are so high.

I think we should get Roy Keane's view on what a bad tackle is, he'd probably say "if the leg doesnt come off, it aint that bad"

The best tackle however was the one that broke Ian Durrants leg against Aberdeen. lol
