hi i have just re-installed windows! and now when i try and open an mpu5 machine in 9.4 emulator it says access violation 0000000658
but when i run an mpu4 file ie the mob?? it works fine?? any ideas?
sorry!! also it says unable to load direct sound when i open the emu!

The problem is with the sound you prob have the old AC97 sound what you neeed to do is download the latest drivers for your sound card and just to make sure download the latest version of direct X too this should solve your problem if not go in the direct X set up and under the sound tab switch off accelleraton
