in sheffield my wardrobe was shaking
i was half asleep and it woke me very quickly - fearing I ran downstairs
didn't know it was an earth tremor until my sister rang me 20 miles away saying put sky news on!
god - never been through a tremor before.
unbelivable
Funny that you have never been through a tremor before -- quite a few have hit Sheffield within the last few years....
There was one a few years ago which felt like someone just pushed the side of the house and all the alarms in the street went off.
Last night I was in bed half asleep and the bed was shaking - but strangly not one alarm went off in the street, so I just presumed that my husband had a bad dream and had woken himself up by the "falling dream" (the one where you always jump just before you hit anything)
But what was weird was then all the birds started making a noise as though it was morning ..
