Grrrr. Pah. FUMING.

These machines are terrible and I demand they be emulated now.

Sorry. I'll explain myself.

Two Project machines. Shooting Stars and It could be you. They were after all the stars/bars *2*3*5*8 era and just before the Empire (monkey climbing Empire state building) era.
Cherries £1/Bells £2/Green bar £3/Yellow bar £5/Sevens £25.

I'm more interested in Shooting Stars. Basically any three symbols in view starts feature whereby a reel spins adding to green stack (£1 streak), yellow stack (£2 streak), pink stack/super star (usually £7-£15), red stack/mega star (usually £21-£24) and blue star/shooting star for £15,£25,£25+?
There is also a multi add position which conveniently fills up the green star for a whopping £4 off £1 streak. Green stack is shortest, then yellow, then pink and so on. Blue star is the only darn one which credit breaks.

It also offers flash holds, for wins above and diagonally as well as hold in wins and the usual holds after nudges for feature and fruits.

It's a right git at times, even on supposedly high percentages. Its unpredicatability means it would be FUN to play on an emulated basis.

I'm fairly sure it hasn't cropped up yet on any emu sites. I don't know much about Project's tech, but as a lot of the older stuff is emulated (777 heaven, Crazy Pays etc) and none of the bars/stars stuff, I'm guessing it can't be done due to technical reasons not because no one has scans/ROMs.

Any clues on this one? Is this a case of lack of resources? I'd be more than happy to bid on Ebay if I saw one of these, or is it a technical issue?

Cheers,

JG

Hi There Nudgeman
Do you have any pictures or videos of shooting stars? I would really like to see it again.

Let me explain..I worked at Project Coin as an R&D Software Engineer at the end of the year 2000.

I was only there a while before emigrating to New Zealand. Well the upshot is that Shooting Stars was the machine which I developed. Thats to say I worked on the software and timed up and selected all the sounds effects and generally tested it out.

I took a trip down memory lane and wondered how that machine got on and didn't even know that Project got around to releasing it.

So any info that you may have is of interest to me.

Thanks
Multivits
