Picked up a Vamp on the weekend, good price, but I've found two problems that weren't evident during the demo or have occured since moving it.
1) How do you get it into test mode? Opening the top door gives "door open" and that's it. Pushing the test button has no effect.
2) The "route inhibit" light on the mech is permanently on, and as such coins simply drop into the coin box rather than into the hopper. I've done a hopper dump and it knows it's empty.
Any help greatly appreciated, the manual would be a nice find too

Can't help with question 2. But Q1 there will be an additional test switch somewhere down the back of the reels which needs to be pressed at the same time as the test switch on MPU.

That button was well hidden!
I've found the mech manual now, so hopefully I can get it sorted. It's not actually a route inhibit LED, it's the status Looks like I just need to get the routing plug wired up correctly and job done!

Got it sorted. Now know how to route coins all over the place
