Hi,

Today I played Monty Python £500 on one of the machines in the bookies and got the feature where you get 3 or more knights. I got 4 in view, and the "offers" screen included £250 top prize (last time I got this feature on another machine, the top value on the offers screen was £25, but I only got 3 knights last time.

I had 4 offers, and took the first one of £82. Did I do the right thing, or should I have taken the other offers to try and get the £250?

Ive only played the machine a couple of times before so wasnt really sure how the feature worked - any advice for next time much appreciated!

Cheers,

Mark

I wouldn't have - Generally minimum of £150 off 4 knights, although I have seen it go as low as £75. I definitely wouldn't have taken less than £100 until the 3rd offer.

Thanks guys,

So basically, I could have got £150+ but £84 was not bad? At least that makes me feel a little better ;O)

Mark

£84 could have been the best offer. Not the greatest feature you could want to get. But then, you will never know :)

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the posts and sorry for the delay in replying - Ive been away this week.

Next time I get this feature I'll try and hold my nerve for a couple more offers - as Id not got 4 knights before, I was worried I would end up with a £5 offer - or something like that. Now I know it is likely to be at least £75, I will be a bit more daring ;O)

Cheers,

Mark

lets just say i was not too amused walikng away with £15 whn i had a £92 offer

my advise , if u get anything above £70 off 4 nights, take it and walk away quickly!!!:bigeyes20:

Hi TJE,

Sorry you didnt win much on that feature, but it does make me feel a whole lot better about taking the £82! ;o) I was worried that I threw away an offer of £150+

Cheers,

Mark

had this feature twice now with 4 knights with £150 being the top prize.first time got £50 off third offer and second time got £70..A bit gutted after thinking that i may get around £100:bigeyes06:

yes, £150 is the top note, not £250...

got £50 then £10 then £60... decided to take the £60...

in my book £82 is fine...

Thanks guys,

For the record, the top note was definately £250 - not £150, there must be different versions of this machine. The machine was one of these "multi" machines in a bookmakers, which had a few different games available as well as Monty Python.

Mark

I was surprised to see a Golden Charms s.B3 machine running in a bookies a while back, didn't realise that Barcrest were releasing machines in cross-platform cabinets.

Got a couple of £35 Triple 7 cabinets at work, gotta love the lights on the top of them :)

Ours (the £35 units) are still on test, got Barcrest chappies coming in and out every so often to check meters, e.t.c.

I actually didn't think they were getting played compared to the other £35 / £25 machines on offer. Seems I need to eat those words, they've actually done pretty well :)
