Downloaded the last couple of fme's from dad's Top Dog and Cashanova and when it goes to nudges it just freezes!! Any help or advice on how to get these working right??

I am guessing its the onboard sound your PC has.

He might be using 9.4, instead of 10.2. Try using the latest emulator, then report back.
If you're using 10.2, then it might be the sound like Alth suggested.

On the main page of this site, look on the left, near the top of the page, and you'll see a link called "Download Cow!"
When you've clicked on that, click on the "Top Ten" link, and it will give you the link to download the emulator.
It will be number 2 in the list.
