Hi guys and girls,

Ive just purchased a second hand barcrest mpu5 machine battle axe and im a total newbie and dont know how to operate it.

Any help would be fantastic, a manual would be perfect or a manual of a machine that is simular.

A manual will not give you any usefull info....

You put money in - you press start .... that is how you work it.

Other than that you can open the front door and press the test button to put it into TEST MODE (may be more than one button on certain machines you have to press) you can then play the machine in FREE PLAY mode or check the meters and lights.. etc

Or you can open the cashbox door and press HOPPER DUMP button to dump the hopper (i think you also have to press another button inside the front door, cant remember as it was a while ago since I got rid of my machine).

A refill key can be used to change the VOLUME and also refill the hopper without the need to open the front door.


Also not a good idea to post your email address on a public forum as you are just prone to getting flooded by spam from robots that search public forums for email addresses -- It is better to say PM me.

Thanks for such a quick reply, thats good advise especially the email, that will be the last time i will post that.

The machine was a £5 jackpot but has been adjusted somehow to be £25, they have stuck labels on it to show the new payouts, can I buy/download the decals from anywhere? may have a go at photoshopping some new ones.

How to I swap it back to £5 jp.?

You'll need a different stakes/prizes key - or to change the switches on the one that's plugged in if it's adjustable.

Going from memory, 5p play £5 jackpot on an adjustable stakes/prizes key - turn all switches OFF except for switch 5 which should be ON
