fruit machine back in the 80's

Hi everyone, it came back to me, i remember a fruit machine with a big key in the middle of topglass, i,m sure it was made by maygay, 2p mplay and £2 jackpot. i'm sure there's some one out there that would know this machine????

thanks but it's not this one, it had a big key with 9 numbers, stoppa and skill stop to light up the key then 2 safe boxes lit up and u had to stop on a feature. (one with cash amounts and the other safe with feaures.

Maygay did two machines like this. They were called Safe Cracker and Super Safe, both in 1985. These were 10p play with a £3 Jackpot. Don't remember any other stake / prize ratio on these but there may well have been.

They both had the key and you needed numbers up to 9 to fill it up. A key symbol on the winline gave a "skillstop" on the key, but it was totally random really. Once you filled the key you were offered a feature which you could collect or swap with the hope of getting something better.

They were both excellent machines. have not seen either for years and no photo's I'm afraid :(

Yeah that's right mate! i remember now! wish they could be emulated!
OH i used to love all these pcp machines on 2p 1.50 jackies!

hi guys im new to this site and so glad i found it, the Cash Explosion machine along with Chain Reaction and Cash Attraction, are all favourites of mine, and im still hoping to get hold of one of them, does anyone know of where you can buy any of these machines. They are all from the same era and would be grateful for any input. thanks

yeah thanks for that, ill give it a go and try mecca, although ive been trawling ebay endlessly and dont seem to be able to find any of them. How i wish the fruitees were like the 80s again lol
