Hello,

I'm rather new to all the fruit machine world. I've got one in my bedroom. It's been working fine but i've not used it for a few months and now when i turn it on it comes up with

MEM RESET ALARM 4.2

Its a Impulse WildFire machine.

How do i correct this error. I've searched the forums and only found one post containing this error code

This is what it said 4.2* RESET On board reset switch operated.

Can anyone please help.

Thank you

Martin

hello

its because you haven't used it for a while that the onboard battery will probably run to low.

the machine will lose its memory when either a stake/prize setting is changed or the battery is low.

once the error has sounded leave the machine on and it will probably ask you to set the onboard time and date.do this and the machine will then power up as normal.

you will need to leave the machine on for a while or at least switch it on for a few hours every couple of days.

if you get the error returning every time you power up the machine then the battery is fooked and you will need a replacement but if you dont want to mess about changing batteries the sourcing an epoch mpu on ebay may be your best option as this is the board that has the battery on it.

I have Epoch MPU batteries should you decide to change it, it's a good idea anyway as I have seen plenty of these boards wrecked recently by battery leakage.
They are easy enough to change (provided you can solder!).
