Torrents are all based on who's online and what the user is set to, eg, if you're after a torrent that there are 45 people and they are all set to max 4k upload, you'll never get more than 180kbps if you're lucky.
Didn't like Usernext as there is a lot of crap on there, everyone raves about limewire, but again it's a lot like Morpheus and can have dodgy stuff without the use of comments to mention it's fake.
I use Bittornado, but I think most Torrent Programs give similar speeds, I prefer IRC, but it's hard to find a decent IRC search site.

i use utorrent have no problems with speed, when it slows down does it say disc overloaded at the bottom? friends onf mine was doing that as the cache on the hardrive wasnt that big just set the download limit to 300kbs and was fine

I only just discovered newsgroups this week. Grabit and nzbsrus.com work superb for me. Found everything I need and always max speed which in my case is 480KB/s.
I'll never go back to torrents or limewire.

Utorrent all the way..after trial on error with just about every avalible torrent program thats the one im sticking with.
A little bit of hacking windows TCP/IP settings and patching max connections per server..then a little tweaking of Utorrents settings can max out your connection just about every time.
Although that depends on seeds leechers etc.

Yep me too. best download i've had is 1.4mb per sec downloading Encarta 2008 last week.
Utorrent for me is the best one i've found and i searched a lot of different ones before sticking to this..

Whenever I try to run it it says...
! Cannot execute "C:DOCUME~1DaeXLOCALS~1TempRar$EX07.563EvID4226Patch.exe"
Even if I put it on the desktop and try to run it.

you might have to disable your antivirsus / firewall i did that anyway.. then it patches at says give it 20secs to check its done then i restarted increased the speed about 100kbs on the connection through the router
