I've been doing work out my garden all week, after work on Thursday I was jet washing the stone patio and my boots got wet and I left my feet in them for hours :>)
Now my foot is itching beyond belief, I feel like cutting the dam thing off
My wife tells me that the damp has got in my foot, and the fungus (known as Athlete's Foot) has infected my feet.
Anybody know what to get for this as I've never had this before, my concentration has gone, advise needed please.
Thank you.

Sounds like a gardening allergy, it's a bit like my DIY allergy and my housework phobia.
Put your feet up and take it easy mate.

Cheers CB1
Also (found out from another forum) Scholl Foot Powder will do the trick.
If there was a road of hot coals I would walk ten miles on my bare feet, it's so bad.
Got so mad with the missus and my concentration is gone, I told her that if it don't stop in a hours time I going to Hospital - Lol. She said that's ridiculous I said shut up and start scrubbing my feet with a wire brush.

Believe it or not, if your wife has some Canesten Cream lying around in the medicine cabinet, that will do the trick. Preferably the 2% strength thrush cream (clotrimazole). Pop that on two times a day, or even three if you've got nothing better to do onto the foot, cleaned and dry.
and it'll clear up pretty soon. Nip it in the bud before it spreads and starts to get really flakey and odorous. Other tips are to keep the offending foot dry, let it air if you can and wear cotton socks for a few days, preferably with porous footwear to allow the skin to breathe.
There's loads of stuff on the market. Mycil is a good old brand that has been around for ages. Daktarin and Scholl also make sprays, creams and powders for Athlete's foot. Lamisil Once (RRP £8.99) is the creme de la creme of treatments blasting away the offending fungal infection (tinea pedis) with a one off treatment that involves coating both feet.
