i i have owned THE SIMPSONS fruit machine (5p play £5 jackpot) now for a year and i never recieved a manual, where the £1 coins drop into draw this now full to the top so i thought the machine would start to payout better ;the machine works perfect but i have no idea how to change the payout percentage it did come from a arcade so it pays out next to nothing my mates wont play it anymore as it is a bit boring not to many wins never a £5 jackpot repeat, higher or lower than a 11 is a joke etc i can see various switches but dont really no what there for so would a manual help me work things out? cheers mike

Why are you trying to delete it?
As I said the Two threads you made have been merged.

I have never seen a £5 jackpot simpsons repeat tbh, switching it to 10p rather thsn 5p should get rid of some dead spins, from experiance these machines (most £5 maygays) can be a bit boring on £5 jackpot, normally £3 in 2 out type of play. The simpons I think has £20ish streak in it somewhere but normally dead after paying a fiver. Have seen it go about £15 for a board before so must be saving up for a streak sometims. Re hi/lo s I have found the hi/lo on exchange points in normally ok, however the hi/lo to contunue/meltdown(think its called) will happily beat you on 2 and 11's. Wouldnt mind a Simpons machine for novelty but on £5 very flat and very obvious blocks on the boards

i agree i had this machine about 2 months also mine was set at 10p play £5jp 86% payout and to me was boring after the first press
you know what its going to do so just snap the feature or cash straight away when its really wanting to pay out it puts you on skateboard
so always hit on 3 bart and usually gives you a radiation suite afterwards. on start up what does the machines percentage settings say?

They used to have one on 20p £5 near me a while back. That used to go for £20 - £25 fairly regularly.

hi the machine is 10p play not 5p play as i have foolishly stated.
on start up its says INITIALISE ...02 4.2 MEM RES ALARM
then the alarm sounds for about 10 secs then says day, door locked, etc. then i press play and the machine is ready to be played.

No it shouldn't - it means the memory backup battery is dead.
If this is "The Simpsons" rather than "Homers Meltdown" then I reckon I have a manual for it...

That's weird - that last post I made earlier in the afternoon has totally gone!
Thought the forum was acting up a bit...
Right. Here is a link to a download of the detailed technical manual on the mpu mecca :The MPU Mecca
That should tell you everything you need to know.
