hello new to this hopefully get some answers here.i have a mazooma club count yer cash machine which i recently purchased but after to weeks the eproms packed in so i bought another set, then when i switched it on the machine intialized then i got a security error 41 so i phoned a couple of people see if there was anything else i might need.remebered something about d reg and non dereg also some man told me to short out the battery as it may cause security errors any help would be much appreciated

would this be located on the main board or the game card and can it be replaced?

trying taking the battery off the main board .. starting it .. then turn it off and put the battery back

i dont no ive never owned a scorpian 4 machine but u will find it it looks like a watch battery

hi th only battery i can see its like a oval shape says varta 3.6v battery and it is attached to the board does it serve any main purpose?

it holds the memory of the machines settings

if there is not a button that says clear ram try this, with the machine turned OFF get a bit of wire and hold one end to the plus side of the battery and hold the other end of the wire to the negitive side of the battery, do this for ten seconds. this will clear the ram and hopfuly your error

yep thats it you need to take it off so the machine ram clears and percentage is reset then put it back in and the machine should start

Right in the bottom right hand side of the scorpion4 there should be a 3 wired loom running onto a small pcb check ths some later models of scorpion4 game this was writen into the software Please check

impact would this be better if i put a picture up tommorrow night this sort of thing im not so bright on?

would the original sound proms mixed with the copied game proms cause this error?
