Maybe it's because I don't frequent as many "dodgy" web sites as you fellas but I've run AVG and Spybot and Easy Cleaner for over 6 years and they keep my computer smelling lily fresh. :)

No problems, I've been using it for about 6 months along with Norton and It's worked great for me, it's caught several things that Norton didn't !

My Theory for most Virus killers is this... if it's easy to crack and get free, WHY are you trusting it to protect your PC?

Gotta admit I use AVG tho, I have the full version (paid) but it's bloody annoying, with it's daily scans etc, considering going back to the free version although that only protects against viruses, the version I have is full protection.

May try some of the suggestions above tho, as I'm sick of popups and popunders.

Why not get " System Mechanic " it comes all in one with scan, clean, registry fix, defragment, optimizing, ram increase etc etc everything you would want in a program for your PC.. it is great to use when you want to find a program all in one and has firewall and anti-virus which is like popular.....one other program you may wish to checkout :)
