The orange and black theme is pretty good, but the white background seems to split everything on the page, maybe a tad too bright.

Overall a definate improvement though, very nice Posted Image

Serious question this time lol.

On the old forums page..at the bottom there used to be a 'More' button that when clicked it would take you to page 2 of recent threads..'More' again page 3 of recent threads...so on.

So if someone posted a thread and it got bumped down to the bottom..then out of sight of the threads on the homepage..how is anyone gonn be able to read it..unless going right through all topic threads.

'Any topic chat'..'Real fruit machines'..'I found a problem' etc.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know. :)

Nothing has changed in this respect. You can still edit your own threads up to a certain length of time and all registered users can post, but not in certain forums like the one this post is in for example.

I'm not really in favour of these changes. At forist, I assumed the site had some sort of issue and had to be reverted to a default setting. Aside from the garish colour choice, it feels like the site has been squeezed into a "tube" in the middle os the screen with pointless empty white borders around the sides - this makes for a cramped feeling which navigating the site.

I also preferred the chat in its original place so that it could be safely ignored rather than the 1st thing on the front page. This looks especially odd when chats have different fonts and font sizes.

On the plus side, the site performance seems far better than it was before...

Don't worry, I'll bet you £3.78 that Cyberslots and the like are going fill those gaps any moment :)

:devil:

That'd look better - preferable with some flashing, spinning gifs to colour up the place :-D.

I'm warming up to it now...Or is it just the weather? ;)
But the only gripe I have now is the adverts are a lot more intrusive on your posts...If you read up this message you'll see the quotes are dumped down below an ad block and some peoples posts are squashed up with an ad taking up half the room.
Now I know they pay for the bandwidth etc but can they be swapped to another place...say the bottom of the posts?

Unfortunately I don't have a choice on where in the post the ads appear. The hack I have installed was the least intrusive I could find. It only puts the ads on every sixth post and site supporters do not see the ads at all. I have now made the ad unit smaller.

I think the new setup is neat, but could do with some new artwork- (gay or otherwise). But I'll have to leve that to the talented amongst us. As for the work that goes into running the site - thankyou thankyou thankyou. I'll keep donating my annual pennies to help keep the cogs turning and keep my name in a bright shiny colour. Countless thanks to all who keep the site working and all those who contribute constuctivly or just for the fun of it.

KEEP IT UP !!:thumbs_up::thumbs_up:
