Hi guys
How do you tell when downloading any fruits which emulator you have to use ie ;jpemu or mfme v? are there other too

this is so i can just unzip contents into correct folder

if its called xfruitx.gam itll open with mfme (which version depends on the machine)
and if its xfruitx.jpm itll open with jpemu

EDIT:
or if you look at the layout files they are
xfruitx.DAT = MFME
xfruitx.JEL = Jpemu

Also they're all in separate areas when you go into the downloads section.

The Easier way if you actually look before you download a file it will give you the name of what machine it goes on like

----------------------------------------------

MFME 1.1 are MPU 3/4 Roms, MPU 3/4 Classic Layouts, MPU 3/4 DX Layouts, MPU 3/4 PDX Layouts, M1A ROMs, M1A Classic Layouts, M1A DX Layouts files

----------------------------------------------

MFME 2.0/3.0 are Impact, MPU 4, System 80, System 5, System 1, Scorpion 2, Scorpion 1, MPU 3, MPS, M1A files

----------------------------------------------

MFME 2.1/3.1 are SP.ACE, PROCONN files

----------------------------------------------

MFME 9.4+ are MPU 5, Scorpion 4 files

----------------------------------------------

JPEmU are JPeMu Classic Layouts, JPeMu DX Layouts files

----------------------------------------------

BFMulator are BFMulator Classic Layouts, BFMulator DX Layouts files

----------------------------------------------

thanks dudes that's clearer now
so i have mfme v2 & mfme v3.2 so i need mfme v1 & mfme 9.4 to run most is this right ?

yeah MPU5 & Scorpion 4 files will only WORK on MFME 9.4 or higher!! not anything lower... :) same with others :)

like MFME 2.1/3.1 will only run files that are only for that :) and so on and so on :)

and you will see files for like 10.1a aswell you will need them to play on some of the higher-tech machines which come on here :: all you need to do is click on " Cliff Repro's " and login as a guest click virtual folder and look for MFME 10.1a and download that to play the 10.1a games :) :)

nearly forgot to mention that :)
