You would have to do a ram clear on every fruit machine you load up
Go into config and click Clear Ram
If you have 10 Fruit machines you will have to load one at a time and do the Ram Clear Each time
If you have 20 ...... ............. ... .. .......... ........... ............. ............................. ......... Get me

@ Kriss - Had a little tinker and cant find it, when i run mfme v.3.0 i cant see anyhting that says Config. Can you help a blind man out, Gawd i hate feeling like a noob, lol
@ altharic - Is it the .ram files where i've stored my roms ? I've put roms in the mfme folder into a folder called roms - Stoopid question i know, but i tried deleting them and nothing changed.
So then i also tried uinstalling the whole thing, and still no joy !!
Here's what i mean :-
I've not played smash & grab 177 times for example, In my youth maybe:lol:

you are not blind lol as mfme3 doesn't have the config option.

You can edit the .gam file. Open it with notepad, you see all the stats for each machine in each machine .gam file. You can reset the times played simply by chaging the number too '0'. While your there you can change the ins and outs.
It's good to reset the machines, pretty much everything I download gets a ram clear. Like to know where I am and all that

What effect would changing this number have, can you force a machine to be happy (changing the in to a high amount) by doing this?

None I would have thought. Give it a try though
If you want to clear the ram then use the button in config. Not sure if just chaging the ins and outs in the .gam file would reset the machine totally, just the meters.... But it depends on how picky you are ahaha.

Hi,
I've had a look but cant find out how to do it, I'm sure it's simple.
When starting MFME Game Manager, I'd like to reset everything to zero, Times played, money in & out etc
Thanks to anyone that can help
What you wanna do is quit the emulator. Go to the relevant directory and then do this:
1 .... Delete the .ram file.
2 .... Open the .gam file in Notepad and set all the in/out values to zero so it looks like this:
System MPU5
DIP 1 00000000
DIP 2 00000000
Delay 9999999
Stake 3
Jackpot 4
Percentage 2
SetPercent 74
TotalIn 0
TotalOut 0
SEC1 "REFILL " 0
SEC2 "CASH IN" 0
SEC3 "CASHOUT" 0
SEC4 "TOCN IN" 0
SEC5 "TOCNOUT" 0
SEC6 "NOTESIN" 0
SEC7 "PRIEOUT" 0
Played 1
Layout bb1024.dat
ROM bb.hex
Don't change any of the "Layout" or "ROM" settings. Here you can also set the %age payout, using the following pairings (no need to fart about with those silly DIL switches):
SetPercent 70 & Percentage 0
SetPercent 72 & Percentage 1
SetPercent 74 & Percentage 2
SetPercent 76 & Percentage 3
SetPercent 78 & Percentage 4
SetPercent 80 & Percentage 5
SetPercent 82 & Percentage 6
SetPercent 84 & Percentage 7
SetPercent 86 & Percentage 8
SetPercent 88 & Percentage 9
SetPercent 90 & Percentage 10
SetPercent 92 & Percentage 11
SetPercent 94 & Percentage 12
SetPercent 96 & Percentage 13
SetPercent 98 & Percentage 14
The sample .gam file above is set to 74% payout. And that's it. Now you can play your fruity "happy" in the knowledge that your "Drift" readings are always gonna be spot on. Happy happy happy.
