Hi guys,
I recently purchased a Simpsons Duff Beer Guide Fruit Machine and for the first few days it was working fine and it was soooo sweet. I came to turn the machine on yesterday and the alarm started sounding and an error message was displayed.
Message reads INVALID KEY 4.6.
I have tried everything but it just wont stop!
I cannot enter any of the setup menus.
PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME RETURN THE GOOD TIMES!
Thanks

Hi moon
Have you tried unplugging the percentage key. Give it a magic blow and plug her back in. This has worked for me in the past!

Most likely the MPU is knackered, it is soooooo common on these Epoch machines!
Look at the little green battery on the board behind the reels and see if it has leaked and corroded the board.

The random error thing sounds more like board than PSU death.
PSU death usually leads to random resetting; or nothing at all.

Easy enough.
Carefully lever them from both sides with a small screwdriver.
Try not to bend the pins too much. Sit them into the sockets on the new board and gently press and wiggle them a bit. Make sure all the pins are lined up before you push it in all the way, or you might fold one up.
OOooer, that sounded a bit too much like a sex manual!
