Best thing you can do is find a chap called Geddy, over at dadsfme. Ask him for an fme dvd. Stacks of machines, plenty of old style 1024s. Would be a good move

I can't decide what was worse. Roy's totally inappropriate remark, or the ensuing language that followed.

Roy has his opinions, and I'm pretty sure he's either looking at something that wasn't Pooks DX, or you've all just been wound up and grabbed 'hook, line and sinker' into replying by decending to his level.

Fair point CC..although if someone wants to come on here and start being so condescending towards something that takes hours,days or weeks to make without realising excatly what is involved in making these layouts...then of course members on here are going to jump to the layout designers defence..and that dosent just mean Pook..everyone who designs a layout.

With such foul language ? hmmmm perhaps not,, although to read a comment like that gets me really wound up.

Perhaps 'Roy' can come on and explain exactly what he meant by his comment.

So what? Let 'em get on with it. It lets our members let off steam without offending any regulars on this site. If other site member saddos want to play games then all the abuse is well-justified...and who wins? US!!!

My first post, but hey, it needs to be said:

Roy, show some respect.

The many people who have spent their spare time making and perfecting these emulators need to be respected. I would bet they all have other commitments outside of this site, families, jobs and work. To come out with a statement like that is just begging for reaction of some kind.....who knows why....maybe that's how you get your kicks.

To those that have replied and defended the makers, well done....that's what a community is all about. Although the 11 pint replies had a bit of language in them, can see they came from people who care.

To all those that spend their time making these emulators a big thanks. Me, the Mrs and the kids have had hours of entertainment from them, and all for no price at all.

So a big thanks to all you makers out there, only wish I had the talent.
