Hi Guys,
I have just joined Fruit-Emu and I really need some help from you. I run an arcade which has 10 small prized fruits and 6 medium prized fruits mostly old machines.
I'm looking to change a lot of the machines for the next school term but don't know much about what machines are good and what arn't. Here is a list of fruits that i have and some that the regulars have told me to get.
Haunted House £8 (empire) Lord Of The Rings £25
Neptunes Treasure £5 Life's A Beach £25
Jackpoteers £5 Big Blaster £25
Money Monster £5 Sub Zero £25
Cash Strike £5 Frenzy £15
Top Dog £5 Casino 5ive Liner £5
Cash Explosion £5
Funfair £8
Chase The Ace £5
The fruits i'm thinking of getting are Vamp It Up £5/£25, Space Raiders £5/£25 and tuppenny nudger £5 but i'm stuck after that.
could someone please advise me what machines would be good for an arcade in an Jackpot up to £35. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Machines are very hit and miss, a machine that might take a lot of money in one arcade can take fuk all in an arcade next door....
All you can do is try and get machines on trial (sale or return)

Yeah, I understand that some machines might work in my arcade but not elsewhere and the swopping machines is a really good idea.
In your opinion, which are the best machines and also what manufactures should i avoid.
Thanks

I always say you need to keep people busy.
Reds are out the window on any stake.
Get a Green Crazy Fruits and a Pacman (both Qps). Have them 5p or 10p on a £5 jackpot. You put a quid in one of these you'll get a feature.

I didn't know fruits could be chipped. What is the advantages of chipping a fruit. I don't want to be able to set the payout too low or the lads won't play them

Modern slot machines are controlled by EPROM computer chips and, in large casinos, coin acceptors have become obsolete in favor of bill acceptors. These machines and their bill acceptors are designed with advanced anti-cheating and anti-counterfeiting measures and are difficult to defraud. Early computerized slot machines were sometimes defrauded through the use of cheating devices, such as the "slider" or "monkey paw" used by notorious slot cheat Tommy Glenn Carmichael. However, more recent attempts at defrauding slot machines involve manipulating the EPROM, such as by directing microwaves toward it to disrupt its proper functioning. Casino insiders such as Ronald Dale Harris have also been discovered manipulating the software in slot machines in order to defraud casino operators

avoid any maygay/global/extreme machines with epoch technology(this is from a technical point of view)
avoid empire and reflex gaming machines from a punters point of view.
the machines that are doing well in our arcade are bobby dazzler 10p £5 and a bully for you 10p £5.
get barcrests in my opinion.
