im after an engineer who I could pay to sort a problem.

The Motherboard is not communicating with the IO3 Board. Since i dont have any testing equipment I cant say if its the purple comms lead or the IO3 board that is at fault.

Im situated at Hove station, Brighton.

i do have a friend who used to be a service tech for nobles on the pier. i'll try and contact him by email as i do not have his contact mobile number. he lives in hove so it'll be handy for ya nails.

if u could pm me with details ect i'll pass it on.

failing that, u could nip into your nearest arcade and offer a tecky there a back hander (wink wink)

Hi

The comms lead will probly be standard have you got another astra b3 game in your arcade that you could get the comms lead off and test this in your slutto, if it works dodgy lead so you can order up another one if not then prob the IO3 board so order replacement board.

ok, the OI3 board has been replaced and its now starting to boot up, but the monitor doesnt always turn on. the 2 LEDs on the inside blink, one is green and one is amber. i take it either the monitor is on its way out or the power to it is dodgy.. hmm
