is this a tube based machine or a hopper based machine?
if tube based you need a replacement cash in mechanical 12v meter.
if hopper based then you need an electronic meter (which i can supply)
can you upload a photo.

Hello, thanks for the quick reply.
I only got the machine tuesday off my local landlord, but when i went to pick it up he wasnt in so id didnt get the keys. I will be getting them next week when i go. Ill take a photo and pm you with it when i get it.
When i was talking to him about it he reckoned it was some digital display that wasnt working but ill take pictures and let you know as soon as i get it opened up.

That's a bit of a sweeping statement, there are plenty of hopper payout machines that use mechanical meters!
(But yes it does sound like an electronic meter fault from the description.)

Mechanical meters have a display that looks a bit like the odometer in a car speedo. They have two wires connecting them. There is usually a row of 2 or more meters.
Electronic meters have an lcd display like in a calculator, they are connected with a plug in the back and have more than 2 wires.

Well yes...
To be honest battery leakage killed most M1 boards, and now it has started on Epoch.
(Not that too many people will be sorry about that.)
