I put a message on about some of my roms saying no .gam file and you fruit emu said i should check if im loading the in the correct emulator....
but i no im loading them in the right one because they only open up in the BFM which says no .gam. When i try in the MFME or the JPM it cant find them in the file that i have them saved in.
ive just downloaded pot of gold from the top rated and it has said the same.. but the thing i dont understand is how come people can give it a good rating if it doesnt load up in the emulators

RB the last line is incorrect
You put it as ....-.-..-...-...-......-...-..-..-.-...-..-.-..-.-..-.-.-..-.-.-...-...-..- but it should be
....-.-..-....-...-......---...-..-..-.-...-..--..-.-..-.-..-.-.-..-.-.-...-...-..-
You Nutter, you were telling people you wanted to sacrifice a small goat and smeer its blood all over your testicles for all to see...
Amazing how a . and a - can be mixed round for such an impact....

If you're trying to run 'Pot of Gold', you should be using the JPM emulator.

If you want to run 'Dels mullions', you should use BFMulator, it is a scorpion2 game.
Start BFMulator and drop the zip file on the window (no need to unzip).
Or use the load game menu and open the zipfile.

Tom, what JPM machine doesn't work?
It sounds like you have opened it on the wrong version of the Emulator.
If it's a 1.45 layout, and you have tried to open it in a different version of the emulator (1.46 or 2.41) it wipes out the information in the .JPM file located in the same folder as the game you are trying to load.
If this happens, open the .JPM file with Notepad, and add the exact name of the layout of the game you are trying to load next to where it says Layout.
Here is an example using the .JPM file from Arcadia.
PROG1=ARCA10_1.BIN
PROG2=ARCA10_2.BIN
SOUND=ARCA-SND.BIN
LAYOUT=ARCADIAJ.JEL
COIN=BINARY
SPEED=500
PCKEY=11
SPKEY=57
DIPS=255
DIP1=1
DIP2=2
DIP3=3
DIP4=4
DIP5=5
DIP6=6
DIP7=7
DIP8=8
MTR1=1
MTR2=2
MTR3=0
MTR4=3
MTR5=4
MTRCI=27668
MTRCO=18277
MTRTI=100
MTRTO=0
MTRRF=0
HOPPER1=1
HOPPER2=0
HOPPER3=0
On the fourth line down it says - LAYOUT=ARCADIAJ.JEL
On the one you are trying to load it probably says - LAYOUT=
Just add the exact name of the game that isn't working, then load it up in the correct version of the emulator.
Hope that helps a bit.
