Probably my favorate fruity from the latter half of the 80's....I've been playing the emulation alot these last few weeks, but the light on reel one is out. Is it easy to fix? or is it intentional? (doesn't stop it from playing ok). Also I seem to remember there were a few clones of this fruity, can anybody rememeber any names of them?
Cheers

Is this lamp 0 not saving? I vaguely remember an error like that.

I'm 99.9% sure this is fixable Turbozed. I'll have a dig around and see what I can find out.

Ok I have found how to fix it :)

You'll need an editable version of MFME. I.E anything that ISN'T 3.0, 3.1, 3.2.

Ok...

1) Open up the game in the emulator as normal.
2) In the "Design" menu at the top, click "Edit Mode". The top bar should turn red to indicate it is in edit mode.
3) Right click on reel 1 and select "Properties"
4) In the bottom left of the properties window you should see 3 boxes with 32,33,34 in respectively. Under that there is a tickbox with "Custom" written next to it. Untick this box and the three numbers should be greyed out.
5) Save the layout. This is most easily done by closing the emulator. It should first ask you if you wish to save the game. Click yes. Job done.

You can now open this in ANY version of MFME and the lamps should work.

Hope this helps. Guitar :D

I wouldn't say these were clones but very similar in gameplay are the following. Cash Attraction, Cash Wise and Double Chance...all very similar to Cash Explosion and thankfully all emulated :)

There was also a BWB rebuild of Cash Explosion. There's one in my local B&B in Blackpool. I quite like it but most people think it's pants.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a try in a bit. Nothing like good instructions when your delving!

Just tried fixing it, the first few times it wouldn't save, then it did save, but made no odds, and finally it accepted it and its all fixed! Not sure what all that was about as I was extra carefull to do as you instructed.
Thanks again for your help,
Jim
