Hi Folks
Thanks for this fantastic website!! Just thought I'd introduce myself!
I have been playing machines for 19 years now! Very badly for the first 7 years, until a friend of mine bought a snooker club and had 3 pairs of professional machine players visiting his club.
He had two machines: Club Blackjack and Club Attraction (those were the days!!)
He worked out how they won (that is apart from the pot calculations) and passed on the information. I then started making serious money from machines, met others from time to time and learned what I could from them.
Anyway, are there any professionals out there (past or present)? Love to hear from you?
Anyone remember the day that snooker club members uttered the words "I bet he's one of those professional machine players"? It happened to me within days of the famous "Mike Parry" article in the Sun! Remember that?
Best regards
Lozza

Anyone here from the old days!!

That wasn't that baldy git who ended up broke and in jail, was it?
Or maybe it was the 'Joker Stripers' - have you got a copy of the Sun article?

Na, he had fair hair and glasses if my memory serves me right.
The baldy bloke teamed up with him from time to time - he used some money left to him to "buy in" to their group!
If its the same baldy bloke, he was also on the TV on one of the breakfast TV programs, demonstrating how good he was on the machines. They gave him a selection of machines which replecated the selection on the Dover Ferry and left him to it - he lost £70
))
Mike Parry was a genius on machines at the time. As it happened he was a programmer for one of the machine companies (Ace I think..... guess where the lines came from!). He also used to hit the reel match like it was in slow motion!
What did the baldy fella end up in jail for?

Sorry - I don't have the article - perhaps we can get it from the sun archives somewhere....
The article was a sun reporter going across on the Dover ferry with Mike Parry - according to the report, he profited around £1,000 on the single crossing! Not bad for 1.5 hours work!
