Just reinstalled Windows, updated to SP3 and MFME will not now work. I get a flash of blue screen and the PC reboots.
Tried removing SP3, same happens, so reinstalled it.
Looks like a memory type error but no issues in Device Manager.
Well and truely stuck.....

forget MFME, I had the same happen with SP3 alone.....
I too was totally mythed and like you saw no issues, bit severe but I ended up doing a full XP install and the self same download ran fine, since then I have basically got my Desktop back as I had it...and its working fine!
Love to know what it was!

ive got sp3 on this desktop and to be honest the machines seem to be running better than before !!
knowing my luck something will go tits up soon enough
