Should a mod be threatening people like this?
A MOD? you say. as far as i'm concerned i am no longer a mod as it seems there is a free run for all. as i found out from the charade that went on.

Right Mark, some answers here.
Type of previous BAN you described was most likely something I normally use to keep the spam bots out and NOTHING to do with Yahoo / Google Spiders as what DAD thinks that maybe the case.
I have crawled the DB to make sure there are NO Virgin Media / NTL / Blue Younder IP's in the ban DB. There are none. As it is, there are NO UK based IP's in the ban DB what so ever.
I have also checked the ban DB to ensure it has not collapsed yet again like it did with Flying Giraffe... it's functioning normally.
As for your "Injured Bird" routine here, it will not wash with me. If you have got an issue with Alth (As it appears to be), take it up DIRECTLY with him, and not lash out like the mardy little brat you are. I am sick of this, and I am sure the admin team here @ FE along with the rest of the members are tired of this too.

not trying to stir like - but the last time - somebody couldn't "get on" because of "accidentally" getting banned because they resembled a range of spiders hadn't they just annoyed some mods/ friends of Dads too?? Just something to mull over like.....
I'd say that's exactly what you are trying to do with that post - stir shit! Plus to answer your question, the answer is NO!!

OK so we have read and learnt that Alth is no longer staff at DADs.....So that should mean that none of the past arguments were needed...
Secondly...There have been other members Banned at DADs due to unforseen circumstances, but weren't they handled in a more civil manner? X was banned, the staff unbanned him, problem solved...That's all that needs to be done here as well IMO, no need for anymore accusations, threats etc.

Quite right, but as far as I can tell Lincs has NEVER been banned at DADsFME. If he was and got the 'banned' message when he tried to log on I simply can't explain it as there is nothing in the logs to indicate that this ever happened. As Stan has mentioned already his IP isn't even close to those few on the ban list.Maybe we should all Calm down here

This should've been dealt with through PM's or actually phoning people and talking with them - the vast majority (myself included) of people will see this as petty and immature.

Something I normally will refuse to do.... a post in DAD's staff section (I also think that Jortex from FF, and the admins here will confirm this fact)......
Stan, did you at any time ban him from here?
IF I had, it was by mistake, and yes I did find one entry that could have poss caught him out (Now removed), but it now appears what he is saying, is that the server this site is hosted on, is banning him by IP, and not the forum itself.... something only JabWeb (Our hosts) can do.

Ady in his best efforts tried to olive branch this via msn to be met with a complete brick wall it aint me being the c*** in all this believe me, I have tried and tried but I hit a brick wall with him last thing I want to do is fight with a FME person I have met in real life it does not make sense and TBH I am shocked and think its out of character for lincs to be like this I want to resolve this via diplomatic means and not nasty shit in real life.
Balls in your court Mark if it has to be you have the option of the ignore function.
