Also how can you get a chr without a debugger?

It falls over at a certain point yeah? Thats how you trouble shoot a program see its last point it errors then see why and how it errors. I made a post a while back that was greeted with distain along the lines of 'you aint inspiring me with confidence' I stand by that post.
Either you are billy bullshitting me and aint got as far as you have or have EPEEd the FME community I hope you are just a little slow on the uptake as FME does not need this shite it needs a fresh and free approach sadly one you are not providing.
Should we not wait to see the proof thats in the pudding before we go throwing our words around?

I think guitar is doing a fantastic job with this project. I doubt he would be bullshitting, he certainly doesn't shy away from technical questions. His emu progress is well documented and he seems to be putting a great deal of effort into getting it up and running.

Sorry I didn't quite catch on that you meant you could help debug. I didn't even know you could code. I'll take all the help I can get .
Believe me I wouldn't do that bullshit, you have to understand how much I want to play Blues boys and give it the rinsing it deserves. There are a few members dotted around who have source updates and have been keeping them safe in case of HDD crash, it is 100% real, No bullshit.
The CHR I thought was going to be easier than it is. I can do it by tracing MFME and using mine to try and decipher whats going on but its not as straightforward as the table in MFME made it seem. I'll get there I just need time.

So we need a debugger, where is it?
Maybe I was Feng or Glasnost who knows?
EDIT: do not trace MFME for answers the rom has the answer

Oh and Tuppeny Cracker (crack the nut) has no CHR and runs fine as far as I can tell. I've been working on the gfx having fixed the reel errors. I'm sure the way I am doing the gfx is a bit long winded but its going to look slick. At the minute it looks worse as I have been experimenting. Give me a couple of days and it will be sorted. I will switch to OpenGL at some point but even with directx its fully scaleable to any resolution natively.
Is there any chance of a forum space for the emu? In the next week or so I expect there to be a lot of updates.

So we need a debugger, where is it?
Its there.
When I said "what for" I meant what did you want a debugger for, not what is a debugger for.
Its all in there breakpoints and all.

Here's another screenshot. I'm not releasing an exe until its in a useable state. Otherwise it will just bring on complaints.
It won't be long expect it this week sometime.
Friday looks good but don't expect a polshed result.

Can I just ask what it is that I have done to you? Why did you just make an offer and the withdraw it so quickly? If you want proof wait till friday its hardly a long way away.
The debugger is commented out for speed, it can be put back in in minutes.

Oh and the reason the character is white is so I can alpha blend it with a background block to get the alpha brightness right.
As I said its still being worked on.

The best suggestion you have made to date! If in the process you also decide not to come back until you have learned at least a smattering of patience, humility and gratitude then that will have been time well-spent. It might, too, just serve as an indication that you have matured somewhat.

Right some clarification as you lot seem to be missing a very very valid point I have he tells us his emulator can do X, Y, Z. Then when pushed he tells us it does f*** all (sound familiar?), secondly he asks very simple easy to answer shit, stuff that would be a prerequisite to getting as far as he claims to have done I can cite several examples of this, I am worried that the scene is being conned like we were with fibby and his mates.
You can release all the screenshots you like proves f*** all the debugger proves if it is close to being what it should be.

I agree, I said the same things to Tibby. Wait till Friday when you get proved wrong. And I never said it does f*** all. All I'm saying is that on friday when it only emulates a few machines, don't some runnig to me with bugs. I know they're there but if the only way to prove this is real is to release an alpha version, then thats that.
One question then Alth. Once you reealise it is real, will you start being a bit more friendly?

Thats a little unfair me thinks. I doubt that hounding Guitar with his emulator will be productive. Remember MFME and the houndings that Chris Wren got? Where are we now? Out in the cold so to speak.
As for the questions you have some suspicions about. I very much doubt that Bernie Eccleston can fix a headlamp on his own car but he's brought us F1 racing. So I hardly think this is a point for ridicule Guitar maybe not knowing everything about MPU4 and it's workings.
I can see where you're coming from being sceptical after the EPEE malarky but to be honest, I'll hold my hand up and say I'm with the camp who believe Guitar and what he's doing being something genuine. After all, I've not seen anything to make me believe that he's following a similar trait with Tibby and blagging along with fibs. And it's the only clear push forward the scene has had for a few years now.
Of course, theres nothing wrong with ridicule and questioning but I think it being civilised is a very small thing to ask for. But let us not forget that the scene is where it is today because of people's impatience and 'I WANT IT NOW!' attitude. As it stands, we are pretty much in line to recieve bugger-all from anywhere. And heres a little light of hope. Something unexpected from an alternative source.
Mistrust breeds mistrust. There are some people on the scene where such developments would make me feel pretty sceptical about. But lets not forget that theres a good 90% of the scene who take people at face value, and wouldn't mistrust anyone unless duped before. And I'm happy to say that I would trust the word of a good 90% of the scene and Guitar is in there somewhere.
Maybe we as a scene, can make our own judgements on whats going on at the moment. At the end of the day, what the hell do we have to lose? Bugger all in my opinion as we have lost more or less all that matters to the scene. Where are the emulators?

Compared to MFME its very basic and featureless. When I say it can do f*** all, I mean that there's no extender boards and no CHR.
Without which there's about 5 roms which will run correctly. But the background game is running, there's just no lamps past lamp 127 (it has 255 for those who aren't au fait).
You said you could quote examples. Please do I'll be happy to answer your questions.

FFS Man grow up, have some patience.
Keep up the good work Guitar, least 99% of the scene are in your corner.
