Please help. I inherited a Maygay Super Sleuth (£10 Jackpot) when I recently moved house. In full working order. My wife hates it and its got to go.

2 questions
1) I have fed approx £250 into it. I can see the money in a green tube but can't work out how to get it out. Any ideas.
2) Is the machine worth anything or shall I just take it to the dump.

Many thanks

Easiest way to get the money out is to take out the entire hopper assembly (it is usually mounted on a board) and tip it upside down!

This machine should make a few quid on Ebay, it is one of Maygay's better ones.
Definitely too good to just take to the tip if it is working, the parts themselves are often needed by other machine owners.
Where are you?

lol i think you might find its a payslide type machine not a hopper type.

best way would be to tip the machine upside down pmsl

Yeeeees...
I am aware that it is a payslide machine, I used the term "hopper assembly" for simplicity. I could have said "the board with all the tubey things and stuff on" but decided not to for some reason.

Don't think I will bother next time.

I wouldn't build your hopes up mate to be honest...

I don't know for sure as i'm not in that game of selling/dealing but I do know its not a mega hot machine.

Always worth plonking on ebay though whole...then if it don't sell break it and offer the parts rather than dump.

No idea.
